Wish I would have bought a Leupold VX-3
I am not an qualified optics snob just a hunter that uses a large bore rifle in cold bad weather. This scope is a disappointment. I've had better image and low light quality from a Simmons Aetec enough said.
Pros: Zeiss name you can impress your friends
Cons: Not as good as a Leupold VX-2
Zeiss Reputation
Paid $399 for this German Glass, assembled in USA Rifle scope but after a few hundred rounds the ocular lens came loose and rattled and there was a slight occlusion in the sight plane. Maybe it was a lemon, but I really liked the optics. I sent it back the Zeiss for repair and they could not repair it so they sent me a $1,000 HD5 3X15-42 free of charge. What a great company........I'll never buy another brand than Zeiss.

Conquest 3-9 X 40
This scope is perfect for my up-coming hog hunt... clear as bell with a quick German #4 cross hair. It holds zero, and tracks perfectly. This is my third Conquest scope all of them are wonderful. They will hold up under the recoil of high power "full Boat" loads.

Zeiss OPMOD 3x9x40
Very clear. I can adjust it so I don't have to use my bifocal eyeglasses.
This may not seem important to some, but wait toll you need bifocals, you'll see what I mean. Optics Planet has great service.

extremely happy with putchase
Excellent scope..very clear optics was to use sturdy construction could not ask for better. Optics planet packaged it extremely well to ship to Australia so will definitely buy with again. I hunt in harsh terrain with dust and heat covering everything and hasn't let me down yet even bumping it against vehicles its still stays zero

Zeiss Conquest
Conquest series of rifle scopes are a good all around scope for the serious hunter down to the beginning amateur. Ranks at the top for me and I own 4 now. Solid built scope and water proof with lifetime warranty. Hard to go wrong with Zeiss scopes or binoculars. I dropped rifle out of tree stand on accident and scope was severely damaged. Sent it back to manufacturer and was replaced with no questions asked. How many other scope manufacturers are going to do that..? Just ordered 2 more to go on my AR-15 and Remington 700 Sendero .270..!

Zeiss Conquest 3 - 9
I bought a new Sauer 7mm mag combination rifle/scope that came with a German made Minox scope which turned out to be junk. I bought this Zeiss scope as a replacement and am very satisfied with a scope that develops the rifle's full potential. This is one of several Zeiss's I have bought from Optics Planet which has delivered the products quickly, at competitive prices and entirely satisfactorily.

Great scope for the money
Great scope for the money. A few small things could have been better but I am sold on zeiss. Buy good optics, it's worth it! The hunting turrets with lift-up zero-reset were nice, I wasn't expecting them. The adjustments are strong and audible. I love the reticle, I hunting mostly low light. If they trimmed a few ounces and scribed better marks on the hunting turret this scope would be perfect.
Pros:

- Zero reset hunting turret
- Lots of room for scope mounting
- Tough finish
- Strong but smooth power adjustment
- Good low light reticle
Cons:
- The marks on the hunting turret are dry generic and cheesy.
- The scope is heavier than comparable scopes

I will be replaceing existing scope with Zeiss
German quality optics made is USA. I have 11 scopes on various long guns and pistols. This is my first Zeiss most name brands with comparable optics were $150 more...Looking to replace a few of the 11 with Zeiss

Doesn't get any better
For several decades I would think of nothing but Leupold scopes for my use. I am not knocking them but then
I looked through a Zeiss Conquest. The Conquest was extremely clear and I could adjust the focus so I have
no problems using glasses while shooting. Make an adjustment and that is where the projectile hits.
For my money I will stay with the Zeiss Conquest.
