The .25 caliber 70 grain BlitzKing (FB) Bullet from Sierra has been created to meet the long-standing request from shooters for a "tipped MatchKing" type bullet. The profile of the .25 caliber 70 grain BlitzKing (FB) is designed to optimize accuracy at velocities achieved in a long-range .22-caliber rifle. With a boat tail and a thin, the .25 caliber BlitzKing (FB) bullet assures deep penetration and explosive expansion. The lighter weights of the .25 caliber 70 grain BlitzKing (FB) bullets were created to fill the demand for the longer range varmint crowd. There is a heavy concentration of tungsten which insures deep penetration and explosive expansion. It also has a flat base which aids in expansion and energy retention. There is also a heavy concentration of copper which aids in overall weight retention. There is a heavy concentration of lead which aids in deep penetration. There is also a heavy concentration of copper which aids in velocity and hold-over energy. These characteristics allow the BlitzKing bullets to penetrate deep while expanding laterally and out to targets at greater distances.
