Great product for civilians who are trying to protect themselves against domestic threats. The vest itself holds up well, though some breathable mesh would be a great additon to it and better padded shoulder straps.

These Plate Carriers from Spartan Armor Systems have a core hardness of 545-560 BHN which brings them up to a Level III+ rating for maximum protection against high-velocity projectiles. The Spartan Armor Systems AR550 Body Armor and Plate Carrier Vest Package has front and back MOLLE attachment points to host your holsters, mag pouches and accessories, and there is also Velcro so that you can attach ID patches. Each carrier also comes with a cummerbund that provides pockets for side plates, as well.
