They are shims, they do what shims do and shim. Single use only except for the thick one. Be aware some of the shims are fragile and will deform if not carful.

This kit is excellent for free float rail applications where the rail system uses a timed barrel nut, and indexing is critical. This kit has a variety of shims of differing thicknesses to help you get the timing just right.

Steel barrel nuts can be torqued anywhere from 30 to 70 foot pounds. Not so aluminum alloy BNs. Beyond 45 you may damage it, have to replace and start over. This kit allows for correct timing from 30 to 45 with any barrel extension. I have not found ...
