They are shims, they do what shims do and shim.
Single use only except for the thick one.
Be aware some of the shims are fragile and will deform if not carful.

Good front sight, cowitness is great.

Probably the only fully serrated front sight out there, so it shows up a bit cleaner on the bright open sun. It works with the magpul PRO rear sights so thats always convenient. Also it is a standard a2 height as stated on the TROY weight.
