Product Info for SureFire HellFighter Weaponlight Weapon Light Filter
The SureFire Filter for Your Hellfighter Weaponlight lets you choose from a suppressed or non-illuminated mode. Pre-select the filter that works best for your needs. Orange is great for hunting hogs and squirrels, while blue is ideal for illuminating dark-adapted game animals. Red is great for enhanced visibility in variable lighting situations like hog and snow hunting. The color of the filter does matter, however; the color filters also let users easily discern whether an animal is an aggressor or an offender. Blue is an excellent choice for a night scene with little or no ambient light; however, hunters and other outdoorsmen may want the advantage of seeing blood or grass browns rather than the more common green coloration. While many people might prefer one filter color over another, it's always good to have options. Sure-Fire filters can be easily removed and fitted with another filter if their needs change. Simply remove the standard filter, slide it over the LED lamp, and reinsert it in the reflector. The filter is easily installed by hand, so no tools are required. Simply twist the screw off the filter, place it in the reflector, and reinsert it in the reflector. No need to unscrew the light from the weaponlight - the filter is fully seated in the reflector. Elongated, knurled shafts make the installation easy. Just depress the thumb screw counter-clockwise until the filter snaps into place.
