Would this work in the replacement of the Franklin binary system? Expert Answer

No, the Troy Safety Selector Assembly will not work with the Franklin Binary System. From what information I have read the Franklin Binary Triggers have to be used with the Franklin Armory Selector compatible with the model trigger you are using. I recommend contacting Franklin Armory in regards to a replacement selector.

Is there a risk of stripping? Yes. Can you avoid it? Yes. You can try removing some of the red loctite to make it easier to turn in, or just use a wrench set that has one of those large plastic turning handles to get the best purchase on the screw. F...

No screws or threading to come loose or strip; utilizes stainless steel detent plungers to lock levers into place. Traditional lever side has been built for a more positive feel. Right side features a lower profile lever and will not interfere with trigger operation for right handed shooters. Rugged machined billet tool steel construction. Note: Will not work with non Mil-Spec receivers or billet receivers.image
