Is it possible to replace the retention flap? I shaved it down as recommended but am not satisfied with the retention. Manufacturer Answer

There is a chance that you may be able to get one from Vertx customer service directly but that individual piece is not something that is regularly stocked at the warehouse so it would only be available if another customer has returned one.

If you fold the holster together tight enough to securely hold the firearm, it is impossible to draw because the front sight hooks on the holster. If you assemble it loose so you can draw handgun, it flops around in the holster. Do not recommend.
