This thing is pretty cool & does what it is meant to do. The only down fall I see is that it is plastic. Might not be an issue if it were a snap on, but due to the very very fine threads on the ARD & the aluminum threads on the SPARC it could be quit...

Very nice overall. First time I have used on a 1x optic, that may explain why I can see the honey comb, but do not see it on my 3x and 10x scopes. Pros: Easy to install Cons: can see the honey comb

Vortex killFLASH ARD for SPARC Red Dot Threaded ARD30 allows you to stay hidden from view. You won't be spotted by scope reflection since this anti reflection device reduces objective lens glare. The Vortex killFLASH ARD for SPARC works on any threaded SPARC red dot scope and is an easy, compact, anti-reflection device ( ARD ). All you have to do is flip up the objective lens cap that comes on the threaded SPARC and screw the ARD attachment into the threaded objective lens barrel, making it a simple, yet very effective red dot sight accessory. The kill FLASH ARD by Vortex Optics also protects the lens from scratches and cracks in addition to reducing lens glare.image
