If you don't run your rifle dirty Then you will have no problem cycling this ammunition. Firstly I think it's a great option for training. Keep your weapon clean and functioning you should expect a low probability of malfunction

Couldnt help myself to these cheap rounds, but literally had 50% misfire. Took them to the range, and when the first 3 shots misfired i thought “maybe I just got a bad box”. 150 rounds later, misfiring almost as much as fired…… Don’t waste your money...

I’m not sure why people are rating this ammo as garbage. Have used used it quite frequently and have never had any issues with mis-firing. I’ll definitely purchase more of this ammo to have around for a day out shooting.

The Performance .223 cartridge by Wolf Ammo features a 55-grain full-metal jacketed bullet and steel casing. Wolf recommends the economical ammunition for target shooting.

The .223 Remington cartridge is the civilian equivalent of the military's 5.56 round. However, a rifle chambered for 5.56 will fire .223, but a .223-caliber rifle is not intended to fire a 5.56 round because the military round is slightly bigger. Still, a 55-grain .223-caliber bullet will deliver a muzzle velocity of more than 3,000 feet per second. A single box of the centerfire .223 Remington Ammo comes with 20 rounds.
