Please note that a previous answer says it "won't work for the 5.56 Phantom. Only the .30 cal". Yet the product description says its for the 5.56. ?? Expert Answer

The Yankee Hill 431528A Mini QD Flash Hider, as per the manufacturer: WILL NOT fit Original TURBO, Phantom 5.56mm/.223 suppressors, Wraith 45 XL, Phantom .338. These flash hiders ARE compatible with: Turbo T2's, Turbo K's, Resonator's, Resonator R2's, Resonator K's, Nitro .30, all Phantom .30 caliber suppressors, as well as R9 9mm, NITRO N2O sound suppressors and Wraith 9 XL.
The flash hider itself is compatible with 5.56. It just isn't compatible with the Phantom 5.56mm/.223 suppressors.

You state in an answer to another customer's question that the 4315-28A will NOT work with 9mm. YHM's website says it will. Which is it?

This WILL work with the 9mm. I am using it without any modifications on a 9mm AP5 and a YH Wraith XL suppressor, the bore is plenty large enough.

Standard piece of gear. QD works well with YHM Resonator R2.The company should make the nut bigger to allow easier tightening. I have purchased the same part before and it worked as intended. Did not use any additional washers.

Yankee Hill 431528A Mini QD Flash Hider 5.56 NATO Black Phosphate 1/2"-28 tpi - The Mini QD Flash Hiders have a streamlined design, which reduces weight and the overall size. The flash suppressors help eliminate muzzle rise, shouldering the weapon forward and away from the shooter, while still providing rear flash suppression. This avoids the confusion with the traditional flash suppressor that has a cone shape. The flash suppressors help hide the flash, while performing an important function, and aids in overall accuracy. Removes flash even in stalled or slackened firing pins. Multi-directional locking tabs allow the muzzle device to be installed with one hand. A rear drag indicator tab speeds lighting operations by quickly letting the shooter know the flash suppressor is in the "UP" position.image
