Do the lights activate on landing or do you have to turn them on manually?if so that seems to put you at a disadvantage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Expert Answer

These must be activated before being thrown, they are not activated by landing.

Brite Strike Technologies Tactical Balls Illuminated Devices RID3 getting the bad guys attention off of you has never been so easy. Tactical Balls Rolling Illuminated Distraction and Disorientation Devices by Brite Strike Technologies were designed for use by police officers without specialized training and need to get the criminal's focus away from you. These little illuminated rolling balls are lightweight, water and shock resistant. Tactical Balls RID3 are concentrical and weighted enabling them to wobble and spin around when rolled or tossed in a room. These rolling tactical flashlights will always land light end up and leave your perp distracted buying you time to make your move. These tactical balls have been featured in the Santa Stakeout Kit.
