Great for a lightweight ar build. Put mine on a lightweight grendel and it is performing as advertised. I like the looks of it but more importantly the qd sling mount has made shooting and treking through the woods a little more enjoyable.

The latch plate is very light weight for my AR10, but the quick disconnect mount is too large for the quick disconnect and my sling falls out with the slightest of tugs, rendering the latch plate, only slightly better than useless...

Product Info for 2A Armament Aliminum Latch Plate, Black

The 2A Armament Latch Plate is machined from billet aluminum and hard anodized finished for durability. A QD mount is incorporated into the design and the pocketed design adds to the weight savings which in the end is 70% lighter than a typical steel stamped latch plate. The 2A Latch Plate weighs in at .15 oz and supports both AR15 and AR10 platforms.image
