This is not the correct length for an ar10 308. It says the rifle length gas tubes are 15.125 that's correct for 223 but for 308 it's 15.5. Why? Expert Answer

Battle Arms Development states that these gas tubes are compatible with the AR15 and AR10 platform. Pistol 6.6875in, Carbine 9.8in, Mid 11.75in, Rifle 15.125. If you wanted more information, I would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer directly.

Gas tube fit properly and worked well for my rifle length gas system. The black melonite coating looks good, but only time will show how well it holds up to use. My only gripe is that it does NOT come with a roll pin.
