The Hunter Composite Two-Tone is built on a matte gray, stainless steel receiver design that offers additional bolt guidance surface for smooth, fast cycling. The bolt is also new with weight-saving spiral fluting and an ergonomic handle knob. A light, sporter contour barrel with matte black finish offers a great blend of accuracy and weight savings. The muzzle is threaded M13x0.75 to accept the included stainless steel radial muzzle brake, thread protector cap, or install an optional Browning Recoil Hawg Sporter muzzle brake for extra reduction in recoil. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy. The DLX Trigger is a three-lever design that offers zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel performance and comes preset from the factory at 3.5 pounds. (Adjustable down to 3.0 pounds.). The stand-out feature is, of course, the new Vari-Tech stock. This configurable stock makes it easy to adjust the comb height to dial-in the alignment between your eye and optics. Length of pull is adjusted internally with spacers for a solid, rattle-free feel. Even the grip angle can be changed by switching between the sporter and vertical grip modules. On the subject of grip, contrasting gray rubber overmolding on the gripping surfaces provides added security in all conditions and a sleek appearance. Coming in at 1-1/4" thick, the Inflex recoil pad enhances shooting comfort - something you'll certainly notice when sending magnum rounds downrange. When hunting, fractions of a second can determine success or failure.
