Not a lock in the traditional sense by JohnnyL, February 23, 2022
While this will secure the rifle, it isn't a "lock" in the traditional sense. There is no locking mechanism. Instead, the design relies on a screw to secure one half of the "lock" to the other. A child with needle nose pliers could open it.
