A day out training is something we all look forward to, running and gunning, practicing those tactical moves, and sending a bunch of ammo down range into the target. The Crucible(R) Heat Shield is made of 6061-T6 Aluminum and extends the Hardened Arms AR15 quad rails out in length so that the handguard covers the entire barrel and muzzle brake. This serves to protect and shield the shooter from burns and as an added bonus it looks (no pun intended), amazingly cool. Its extra length and matching

vent ports create a custom streamlined look that absolutely rocks! The Crucible(R) Heat Shield and SMC muzzle brake offers all of the recoil dampening muzzle rise reduction of a great muzzle brake. While the system does not reduce sound or flame signature, its heat shield is very effective and its look will definitely enhance your AR15!
