Questions & Answers
Do the bullet drop points have a different distances with shorter barrels? Say I am using a 7.5" barrel instead of a 16" barrel. Featured Answer

I called Primary Arms to ask that same question. Since they made the ACSS reticle I thought it made the most sense to call them. They told me I needed to buy the strelok app and chronograph my specific gun/ammo to figure out what yardage to zero in-order for the ACSS to work properly. I wish they would publish the data for us so we don't have to buy a chronograph and ballistic calculators but it is what it is.

The Primary Arms ACSS reticle with CQB and BDC may be the best reticle in existence. I was at a gun show a couple years ago and I picked up an M4 I noticed to check out the attached ACOG. It was amazing and I decided to get one. I looked around onlin...

Holosun with a BDC by Andrew, December 13, 2023
First off, it’s an HS503, it’s what you’d expect from Holosun. The glass is fine, the dot is bright and easy to acquire, and it’s lightweight. The reticle, on the other hand, needs some explanation. First off, you need to have a 3x or better magnifie...

astigmatism by marz, Verified Owner, October 30, 2017
great sight, in my opinion they could charge more for how good this red dot actually is. the only thing I did not take into account was my astigmatism which made the reticle look awful but realized it was me not the dot.

Great red dot! by Curly Fries, February 25, 2019
Great red dot for the money. There's a good range of brightness, and I love the shake awake feature. The acss reticle is a nice touch if you're on the fence between getting a scope or a red dot. The glass is pretty clear and buttons are firm.

I wrote this review because of negative reviews that are at best "Atypical". I have been using Holo s since they came on the market and they did torture tests on youtube. I have never had an issue with any of them. In Fact I prefer them over my aimpo...

Combat optic by Sic Semper Tyrannis, Verified Owner, September 2, 2022
I’ve had a lot of time behind this optic. I’ve seen reviews with people saying this optic needs/has to be paired with a magnifier. I have mine paired with a magnifier but I have to disagree. You can easily engage human size targets out to 400 yards w...

Product Info for Holosun Paralow HS503G Reticle Red Dot Sight

Most red dot sights aren't of much use from 100+ yards out due to the large dot reticle. The Holosun Paralow HS503G Reticle Red Dot Sight aims to fix that issue. These by Holosun feature a patent-pending ACSS reticle that uses a large chevron which allows the user's eye to pick it up easily for close quarters shooting, but the tip of the chevron acts as a small aiming point at longer distances. No longer do you have to choose between a close range red dot sight or a long range one. Plus, the Holosun Paralow HS503G Reticle Red Dot Sight contains three BDC dots underneath the chevron which allow for a remarkable 600 yards of bullet drop compensation in 7.62 NATO or 5.56 NATO calibers. You'll love the incredibly unique qualities of the Holosun Paralow HS503G Reticle Red Dot Sight, and it's one of the best optic options available for both short-range and long-range engagements.image
