The Midwest Industries Gen2 Rifle Scope Mounts feature a forward offset Mount to give proper eye relief specifically for AR platform Rifles. While these Riflescope Mounts & Bases by Midwest Industries are built to last a lifetime, they are designed to provide the most rugged and reliable platform for mounting high-power Rifle Scopes to your AR platform rifle. Heavy duty steel locking lugs and a one-piece long clamp bar give extra security to this Midwest Industries Gen2 Scope Mount w/Rings & Tactical Bases. Unlike many other models, this second generation improvement features a longer clamping bar that ensures the rings and clamping rings will not shift an inch under heavy recoil or jarring. The eye relief feature is built into the Mount, which is why this Mount provides the shooter with the proper eye relief needed for shooting on the AR platform.
