Is this mat water and oil resistant? Featured Answer

It is water"resistant" not water proof as the under side is made of foam rubber which is water absorbent.

I had been needing a gun cleaning mat for a while, and then I saw this one on sale and pulled the trigger. I am glad I did, it is a quality item and very useful when tearing down your pistol for a thorough cleaning.

Good quality mat! Layed it out on my desk hopefully the bumps from it being rolled up from shipping go away soon! Nice weight to it! Can't wait to lay some guns on it! A good spot to tear em down and lube em up!

Great ptoduct. You can set it up anywhere flat and clean your weapoms. Gives you enough cushion if you set it on hard surface. Don't need too much space, and when you're done with it, you can just roll it up and store it away in a small spot.

So over all a good pad. Only problem is that it is being a pain to get it to lay flat. That is the only reason there is not a 5 star. But over all I would recommend this. My kids like looking at all the different size rounds there are.
