Does the barrel nut have the holes for the gas tube? I can't tell in the pictures? Manufacturer Answer

No, there is not a hole for gas tube. Once you assembled, the gas tube will between the handguard and barrel nut.

Yes, it works just fine with anti-rotation tabs and a very snuck barrel fit. I didn't consider the missing QD slot, but I can improvise. Allin all worked great for my truck gun build. Nice weight doesn't feet cheap.
