Unfortunately, the 5.11 Tactical LV6 Bag is no longer available for purchase. I would recommend something like the Eberlestock Bando Bag and Bando Bag XL. These sling/wait packs were specifically designed to accommodate firearms via hook and loop to allow for a holster to be attached and secured inside the bag. Is it sensible for running? Like 5k to marathon? Would like to wear it cross-body and attach a water bottle or two.

It might be a bit heavy, and the thick straps could lead to chaffing. Something lighter and with thinner straps might be more comfortable.
