These are the specifications provided by ATI:

Accepts standard mil-spec parts

Material: Polymer w/Insert
Patented Metal-reinforced polymer upper receiver
Lightweight with durability of a forged aluminum upper
Metal insert to reinforce critical areas of the upper

As you can see they do list most calibers that can be used in an AR-15 upper.

This is black polymer and the only way to refinish it would be to coat the entire thing in whatever finish you are trying to finish it in. We cannot guarantee it will properly finish as this is not a metal upper and is predominantly made of polymer.

Is this also compatible for .410 build? Will this upper work with other brand lowers, Sharps Bros maybe?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Armando R., Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on December 22, 2020

This is a polymer AR15 upper receiver and is technically compatible with any standard AR-15 lower receiver and any standard AR-15 parts. Please be aware that tight fitment cannot be guaranteed as this is polymer and is not mated to whatever lower you are going to mount it too.
