Can this be used as a day time scope so that you can see deer at dawn and dusk?

Manufacturer Answer
A
Answered by Keith at AGM, Manufacturer from TX, United States, on August 06, 2025

Thermal optics such as this RattlerV2 scope can be used safely and effectively day or night. While thermal optics do typically perform better at night due to temperature differential, you can safely use them 24 hours a day. Please keep in mind that thermal optics will display one of the available color pallets, such as "black hot", regardless of lighting conditions. Thermal optics do not show you real life colors like a normal scope. If you would like to see more detail on the animal, I would recommend looking at our 640 or even 1280 sensor units.
