Will this work on a high point 45 pistol?

No. The Hi-Point does not have a standard Picatinny rail on the underside of the firearm which is required to fit this light.

It will mount to the firearm though it will extend beyond the muzzle.

Will this fit a Smith and Wesson SD40 with a 4 inch barrel

If you have the SD40VE with the front accessory rail that has the horizontal slot then yes, this light will fit on the front of your handgun.

Will this fit on a Glock 17 gen3 frame? If not this one, what about your compact version of this light? Specs claim 330 lumens, decal says 150 lumens?

Yes this should fit a Glock 17. The images are of the older version of the unit. The manufacturer has since upgraded the LED inside the unit.
