What is the diameter of the hole that mounts the M2?

It's difficult to answer that because the pintle for the M2 is tapered. The diameter at the top is going to be much bigger than the diameter at the bottom. Your best bet is to buy or machine an actual M2 pintle.

It should be very close to compatible as this is a USGI M2 replica for an M1919 which is the smaller brother of the M2.

Aim Sports does not specify an exact weight but it can be used on a functional M2 as it is fully working replica, they state, "Durable construction will handle sustained fire."
