I am a left handed shooter. Will the wedge obstruct an ambi-safety selector switch (90 degree)?

I would not recommend this grip for a left handed shooter.

Will this fit AR platform with short-throw safety switch?

Yes. The Anarchy Outdoors Tuxedo Grip works on any chassis or AR-style precision rifle with a 45° safety selector. It will allow for direct alignment of the index finger.
