It depends on the rate of fire, but we highly recommend getting at least a front sight that is metal as to avoid any issues with the heat and a plastic front sight.

No. No springs of buttons to go bad. You flip it up or down by hand

No, the FAB Defense Front and Rear Set of Flip-up Sights mount to picatinny rail. However, you could use an M-LOK to picatinny rail adapter to mount them to M-LOK. You can find that adapter at the link below.
