You can mount this on anything that has a M1913 picatinny rail. In regards to visibility alot of that has to do with atmospheric conditions, but specs are listed as follows by the manufacturer: Visible Aim Laser Range: > 25 m, IR Aiming Laser Range: > 600 m (Low), 2000 m (High), IR Illuminator Range: > 2,000 m.
This is the model reserved for Military and Law Enforcement, it is not available for commercial sale.
This model has an IR aiming laser output of 25mW on high.
This is the PEQ-15 high powered Military/Law Enforcement model. The IR Illuminator is stronger, and adjustable for “focus” of the beam, whereas the ATPIAL-C is the Civilian version that has reduced power IR Illumination, that you are not able to adjust the beam, and it also has weaker Visible and IR Lasers. This is because the US FDA has determined that civilians are not capable of safely owning or operating “Military/LE grade” lasers. Funny, I thought that a laser was just a really focused beam of light- what does that have to do with Food or Drugs? I think the US FDA needs to stay out of our rights and freedoms as Americans.....
The photo for the black model is incorrect, if the black model was selected then that is what you will receive.
Yes, it’s just like the military equipment, only not beat up (like the equipment used to you) when purchased.
The A59 is a less powerful civilian/commercial model. The A18 is more powerful and is for military and law enforcement purchase only.
This unit does not have a visible light. This unit has a red laser, an IR (infrared) laser and an IR illuminator.
