Is it supposed to come with the battery already installed?

Typically the battery is not installed, however EOTech does test each unit before it leaves the factory, so it is possible one was left in by accident after testing.

This EOTech OPMOD EXPS2 Holographic Reflex Red Dot Sight will have the OPMOD logo printed on the side of the optic while MPN:EXPS2-0 does not.

The OPMOD model features the OPMOD logo printed on the side of the optic. Typically, OPMOD optics will have the OPMOD logo printed and an exclusive color pattern.

Could this be mounted on a shotgun rib for turkey hunting?

The EOTech OPMOD EXPS2 Holographic Red Dot Sight mounts to picatinny rail. It will not mount to a shotgun rib but it could be mounted to a shotgun that has a picatinny rail base on the receiver.

The manufacturer doesn't state what caliber the EOTech OPMOD EXPS2 Holographic Red Dot Sight is rated for. However, the manufacturer does state it can be used on a variety of weapon systems and medium caliber rifles.
