Is the an IR Illuminator?. I have an old Gen1 NVG set that requires active IR light to see so I need something that’s not just an IR laser pointer

This does not have an IR illuminator. It has a red laser and an IR laser. The IR laser will be visible with night vision, however it will not help illuminate.

This can be mounted either vertically or horizontally, it will not affect function when zeroed.
