I have the SB tactical brace. Can I swap out the buffer tubes use the same brace and rails and just change the tube and spring?

SB items may or may not fit the Maxim tube.

will this work with the  SB Tactical SBPDW? I know max defense worked with sb tactical on this brace. thank you

Yes, the SBPDW is just the Maxim Defense CQB housing but without the QD holes; beyond that, they have the exact same dimensions. This tube will secure the SBPDW housing to the receiver, but it is shorter than the tube that comes with the SBPDW. This tube will require the shorter Maxim Defense CQB buffer and spring; a standard carbine buffer and spring will be too long.

No they do not, but you also need to use their shorter buffer and spring.

No, you do not need a new BCG. It does not come with a spring or buffer.

No, they are not the same length. This Maxim Defense CQB buffer tube requires a proprietary buffer and spring.
