Certain models of the Mossberg 590 are compatible with the Flex System. The Mossberg Flex Synthetic Pistol Grip only works with those models that have the flex system. From what information I can find a non Flex System model of the Mossberg 590 cannot have the Flex System added to it.
Unfortunately, Mossberg states that the Flex system is not compatible with 590 Shockwave or Cruiser model shotguns. You would not be able to use this grip even with a Flex conversion kit as it would not fit.
Features the Tool-less Locking System. No tools necessary to make changes. Synthetic. Compatible only with Mossberg Flex 500/590.
Yes, as long as the flex system is installed, it should work with that firearm.
Yes, it will.
It can fit that firearm but it will need the flex system installed.
To answer your question. Yes, with the Mossberg Flex conversion kit. But there's a big But. The 1934 NFA states any smooth bore gun that has a barrel length under 18.5 inches and has a stock or pistol grip will be classified as an AOW (Any Other Weapon) and must be registered with the ATF. Since the Shockwave barrel is under 18.5" if you add the Flex conversion and attach either their stock options or pistol grip, you've made it a Class 3 firearm. How could you make it legal without going through the class 3 hassle? If you switched to a rifled barrel it would become a.... Pistol! The only problem is mossberg doesn't make short rifled barrels! Hope this helped.
Mossberg and Winchester receivers are not compatible and the Flex conversion (of which this pistol grip is a part of the flex system) will not fit nor work on a Winchester.
No, this will only fit 12 or 20 gauge "Flex Stock" Mossberg 500/590 models. The Mossberg 510 in 20 gauge is not available with the Flex Stock option.
