Will this fit mossberg shockwave?

The NcSTAR 1" Shotgun Magazine Tube Mount would not be compatible with a Shockwave as there is not enough available space on the magazine tube to properly mount it.

It will as long as you have a 1 inch magazine tube diameter and at least 1.5" of magazine tube to mount too with nothing around it.

Does this product fit on a standard Mossberg 500 12 Ga OEM mag tube.....or does it have to be a mag "extension" tube?

This will fit on both standard magazine tubes and extension tubes so it should fit on your Mossberg 500. Just so you are aware, some shotguns will not have room to mount it on the factory tube between the endcap and the forend so you'll want to make sure you have at least an inch of space at the end.

This will fit on both standard magazine tubes and extension tubes. Just so you are aware, some shotguns will not have room to mount it on the factory tube between the endcap and the forend so you'll want to make sure you have at least an inch of space at the end.
