How long is the rail that is at 45 degrees

Yes. You would need to use a picatinny RMR pattern mount for your 507C in order to mount it to this NcStar 45 Degree Off-Set Rail Mount.

What is offset in mm from center of attachment to center of mount? Having trouble finding mount that centers mount over center of barrel.

NcStar does not provide the offset in Millimeters for their 45 Degree Off-Set Rail Mount. I would recommend reaching out to them directly for more information.

Will this mount onto a picatinny rail? I would like to mount this on the top picatinny rail of a S&W M&P 15-22 so that I may have an offset red dot.

The rail section is approximately 1.78" long. The mount section is approximately 1.39" long.

I bought a similiar item to this and there was too much play in the forward/backward movement. is this solid or is there a little bit a play to it?

If you are attaching this to an existing picatinny/weaver rail and it is installed correctly, there should not be any play.
