Will these work with something other than airguns and rimfire rifles? Would they be adequate for centerfire? .308?

The NcSTAR Scope Ring - 1 inch Ring - 3 / 8 inch Dovetail rings will mount to anything with a 3/8 dovetail. As long as they are mounted correctly, you shouldn't have issues.

If it has a 3/8 dovetail it can work if they do not then it will not work.

Can someone please tell me the ring mounting height? (top of rail to bottom of scope)

This has an optic centerline height: 1.1" which means the height from the base to the bottom of the scope tube is .6".

Do these rings have a stop pin for hvy. recoil springers ? It doesn't appear to in picture, unless it's under tape.
