the photo shows the previous generation upper with the A2 flash hider and WITHOUT the M-lok handguard which one will I receive?

UPDATE: The photos on the OP website have been updated to the current production model with the MLOK handguard and standard thread protector. This is what will be received. The slim handguard and A2 flash hider are no longer being offered by Nordic.

Use straight face trigger hammer w this upper, it may not function reliably with angled strike face hammer. What drop-in triggers are recommended?

This upper is made to fit the standard AR-15 lower. It will likely not fit the M&P 15-22.

Does the standard mil spec bolt catch function properly with the black dog mags.

Black Dog does not list that their magazines will last round bolt hold open, but they can still be manually locked back.

Item description clearly says it is 9.25”, and that ann NFA rules apply. Are you sure it’s the 16” version? I want the 9.25” version.

This is the 16" version. The description is left over from the 9.25" version which was also on this product page but is currently unavailable at this time.
