The Primary Arms The SLx 3x MicroPrism Red Dot Sight does not have a shake awake function. It uses a manual brightness knob to turn on and off the illumination.

What is the difference in reticle between the 5.56 FFP and the 5.56/.308? Why is First Focal Plane important when the magnification if fixed at 3x?

The Primary Arms The SLx 3x MicroPrism Red Dot Sight model 710036 and model 710040 are not FFP red dots, that is is a typo. However, the model 710036 has an ACSS reticle designed for use with 5.56/.223 and .308. The model 710040 has an ACSS reticle designed for 7.62x39 and 300 Blackout.

Yes, the 3x Microprism is offered with a reticle which compensates for the bullet drop of the 7.62x39

Yes you do get all the included mounts. It is in the manual. Go to primaryarms website.

Should work fine on a 580+ series mini 14 ranch rifle that has the Ruger factory pic rail installed.

Each Primary Arms SLx 3x MicroPrism Red Dot Sight will include a mount and spacers that allow for 8 total mounting height options.

How does the MicroPrism compare to the PA 3x32 Compact Prism Red Dot Sight? Other than weight/size, what are other benefits? (Relief, FOV, etc.)

The Primary Arms SLx 3x MicroPrism Red Dot Sight has many advantages over the Primary Arms 3x32 Compact Prism Red Dot Sight including the ability to adjust the optic height with the included spacers to allow for optimal eye relief and centerline height. It also has a field of view of 38 feet compared to the 31.5 feet on the 3x32 model. Windage and elevation adjustments are capable of 80 MOA compared to 60 MOA on the 3x32 model, and on top of that the micro-prism is also night vision compatible. Which the 3x32 is not.
