Yes, the pistol grip on the ProMag Archangel M1A Close Quarters Stock can be changed with any standard AK47 pistol grip.

Are you able to put attachments on this stock such as M lock or does it have a rail system??

The ProMag Archangel M1A Close Quarters Stock has MLOK attachment points on the forend at the 3,6, and 9 o'clock position. These attachment point can be used for a variety of MLOK compatible accessories.

The ProMag Archangel M1A Close Quarters Stock is not compatible with folding stock adapters. The ProMag Archangel M1A Close Quarters Stock is compatible with standard AR15 collapsible stocks but the buffer tube style attachment point is fixed to the stock.

Why does the manufacturer say grip is interchangeable when the experts here say it isn't?

The stock appears to have updated since it originally came out. New model's grip can be changed while the older version had a fused grip.
