does this fit into a oem ruger 10/22 receiver? not a charger but regular 10/22 with 18.5 inch barrel.

Yes it does but you’d need to get a different stick or chassis if doing so

Will this barrel fit in the standard 22 Charger stock or is an aftermarket one required?

The Shaw 22 Charger .920 Bull Barrel will fit within the OEM 22 Charger handguard. You will not need to purchase an aftermarket stock/chassis/handguard to fit the barrel properly.

Will this barrel fit a ruger 10/22 that originally came with a 18.5 barrel?

So this would probably fit, but your gun, legally speaking, is a rifle and this barrel is for a pistol version of the 10/22. Attaching this would turn it into an unregistered SBR. I would say check your local laws but you live in CA and it’s also still against federal law. So my advice is to find a 16” barrel if you want to stay within the confines of the law. This barrel also doesn’t have sights and may not fit your stock and may not even reach the barrel band. Just get a different barrel.

I cannot get a round to chamber with the Shaw barrel. I replaced it with a BA and it chambers normally. Any suggestions or is the Shaw just junk?
