You will be able to see the IR laser through your optic as long as you have a FLIR or night vision monocular/binocular.

Why wouldn't this combo work on an AR15/10?

This Streamlight TLR-2 IRW Visible White LED and Class I IR Laser w/ Rail Locating Keys will work on an AR15/AR10 platform. As long as you have a picatinny/1913 rail, you will be able to mount and use this light.

What color is the laxer ? Rex or green?

The beam color will be white and the laser is Infrared which cannot be seen with the naked eye.

Is this saying you do NOT NEED night vision goggles to see the IR light ??

The laser is eye safe. Some non-visible light can cause damage. This just means that the laser does not operate within that spectrum of light.

You will need a night vision capable device. This will include night vision binoculars, monoculars, and night vision enabled cameras.
