Yes, there shouldn't be any real issue as it is just a standard AR-15 charging handle with no latch. If you are for some reason cautious, then I would just recommend going with a standard latched charging handle.
Compatibility with the .22 model of that firearm cannot be guaranteed. You will need to reach out to H&K to verify compatibility with standard AR-15 charging handles and the .22 LR chambered model of the 416.
Suppressors and short barrels mean that the gas exiting the muzzle will be at a higher pressure, which causes gas to vent rearward past the bolt and out of the slot where the charging handle goes. If the charging handle is latchless, it will shoot backward and hit you in the face.
