Yes, I would recommend using the 4.9oz. Tacfire AR15 Recoil Buffer (MPN:MAR044) for your build. These buffers will fit and function in carbine length buffer tubes.

MPN MAR044 is 4.9 oz, MAR045 is 3.8 oz, and MAR043 is 3 oz.

These are all carbine buffers, they will not work in an A2 buffer tube.
