Most night vision can’t handle more than a .223, hour best bet is to get it mounted to a helmet and then mount an IR laser to the gun if your going to use this for a 308 platform.

The US NightVision USNV-PVS-14 Monocular can be mounted to any flattop picatinny rail with the use of an adapter. I would recommend the AGM Global Vision PVS-14 Weapon Mount, found by using the link below:

Yes. The US NightVision USNV-PVS-14 Monocular can be mounted using the Armasight NVG MICH Helmet mount. I will link the correct mount needed below.
