Magpul Gen2 UBR and Vltor A5 kit. Ok, so there is conflicting information here and all over the internet. Ar15 5.56 Gen2 UBR. Works or nit?

Yes, the A5 Buffer System will work with Magpul's Gen2 UBR stock on a AR-15. It will not work with a AR-10 due to the added length of the BCG.

This Vltor A5, Spring And Buffer Kit includes a 5.3 ounce buffer, which could potentially be too heavy for a 16: barrel AR15 in 5.56. I would recommend using the 3.8 ounce VLTOR A5 Specialty Buffer, found by using the link below:

Can i use the buffer tube on my KAC SR15 for this? Or do i need the VLTOR tube as well?

The Vltor A5, Spring And Buffer Kit requires the use of an A% receiver extension (buffer tube) in order to properly function. A carbine length or A2 buffer tube would not be compatible.

im building a mk18 10.3 will this work?

If you are planning on running your MK18 build with a suppressor, then this Vltor A5, Spring And Buffer Kit will work for your setup. If you do not plan on running suppressed, then an H2 buffer would be more ideal and still be able to function with the use of a suppressor. However, you would need a buffer designed for the A5 system (assuming you are using one since this Vltor buffer kit is for A5 tubes). You can find an H2 buffer (4.56 oz) for the A5 buffer system by using the following link:
