I would recommend contacting the manufacture for specific zeroing instructions.
I would recommend using a medium height ring when mounting this Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40mm 1in Tube Second Focal Plane Rifle Scope to your Henry rifle. If you need assistance selecting a base or rings, email us at Techsales@opticsplanet.com.
You would need an AR-height mount. AR rifles require higher mounts that most rifles because the stock comes directly off the back of the receiver rather than angling down. As a result, a lower mount results in being unable to get your eye down to the eyepiece.
The V-Brite reticle has a red color illumination and it is an adjustable brightness.
The medium-height Pro-Series rings, PN# PR1-M, should work just fine!
I would recommend using a 1-piece scope mount such as the Vortex Cantilever Ring Mount (linked below). This mount is designed to provide the correct height and forward placement for proper riflescope mounting on flat-top ARs.

The Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40mm Riflescope would be suitable for both applications. If you need assistance selecting a scope mount and base for your GF3, email us at Techsales@opticsplanet.com.
You would need either Ruger factory rings in 30mm, which indeed are ordered individually, and would require either a 4 and 5, or a 5 and 6. Alternatively, a set of Leupold/Ruger 30mm rings, sold as a pair!
The Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope V-Brite reticle has a .65MOA center dot.
Yes, the Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope can be mounted top a Marlin 1894. You will just need to ensure you have a compatible scope base and rings.
