Scope Meopta 1" tube 44mm objective, mounting on ar flat top. Want it as low as possible, will medium clear on the bell?

I have a weaver scope, 30mm tube, 50mm objective. Do i need high, or extra high rings???

That will completely depend on the rifle you are mounting too. You will most likely be ok with the high if you are mounting to a picatinny or weaver rail that has been installed to an action.

How is ring height determined? From top of rail or barrel to bottom of scope ring???

Height is measured from the point where it meets the rail to the bottom of the ring.

1" Medium is 0.280", 1" High is 0.400", and 1" Extra High is 0.520".
