New idea, great result
I have built 2 rifles now with the this enhanced upper and hand guard setup. All I can say is that it looks and feels fantastic. Downside is that you are extremely limited to hand guard options. The Aero unit is a larger diameter so not everyones cup of tea. For me, it's a perfect fit but I have large hands. Lightweight, strong, and looks good.

I figured while I wait for the ATF on my suppressor I would build an AR style pistol. I am really liking how the rail mounts to the upper! I think its really slick that Aero Precision made the barrel nut and rail mounting two different things. The rail mount is solid! I combined the 12 inch m-lok with a 11.5 inch Rosco barrel and it is slick. I wanted at least 11 inch of rail for my long arms and i could not find one that i liked as much as AP. I have gone cheap on rails and uppers in the past. I didn't like the out come. This set up will spoil you. only slight con is the rail is wider then previously used m-lok rails but not to bad, just have to get use to it and adjust my set up. Aero Precision makes good and affordable stuff.

Great system
Definitely the easiest upper to build off. The barrel nut makes life so easy. There is no need to struggle to try to line up the gas block and the forearm is super easy to take on and off. I will never use any other upper receiver.

M4E1 Upper and Handguard Combo
Aero quality is good. This ready to build combo is well made, light and easy to assemble. I appreciate the built in free floating hand guard mounts, no shimming and solid. This hand guard is a great option that combines small size, M-Lock and a rail, the definite way to go.

Best method developed for handgaurd attatchment.
The upper receiver, forged, has the interface for the handgaurd forged into itself. No leverage on barrel or barrel nut. Generous interior will fit some suppressors. Held on by torx screws. Very sturdy, anti rotation built in. Wont slip forward or back. I believe it includes barrel nut and wrench. Mine did.
