Fit and finish is perfect on the FDE cerakote M5E1 upper. Mated perfectly with the M5E1 hand guard. Looks good too. Would definitely recommend this upper if used with M5E1 hand guard.

Very impressed with this upper. Highly recommend aero for AR uppers, lowers and handguards. Optics Planet shipped quickly, selling at the best price by 50 dollars. The part was received in perfect condition. The part was packaged with good protection. Good job guys.

Not able to use my ar10 because of issues unrelated to this but i really appreciate Aero Precision products. I have an ar15 complete upper with 3,000 rounds through it and havent had an issue with it yet. The finish is good on this and I am happy with it

Aero precision, M5E1FDE upper receiver

Cannot recommend this upper due to the fact that the barrel fits so loosely. Great design, awful tolerance.

  • Very poor tolerances
Best Used for:
  • If you want to Bed and shim your barrel.
