Good vice block
Vice block for a good price. Meets expectations and didn’t break the bank. I’d been looking for a while and purchased this one because of the price. It does not come with a vice or stand, but I didn’t need either, and blocks with those options cost quite a bit more.
Works Well!!
I used this to replace hand guard and fit my M&P 15 receiver perfectly. The clamp left no marks whatsoever, even though had to be clamped down tightly to be able to remove the barrel nut. Good add to the toolbox.
Pros:
- Ease of use
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Anything & everything

Value and simple
No issues with the product in shipping. Used this to change out the barrel on my PSA AR pistol. Only issue was that I had to use a C-clamp on the top. As you tighten it in the vise, the top wants to spread apart. This can be fixed with a good 6in C-clamp.
Pros:
- value
Cons:
- Maybe quality is not so good
Best Used for:
- Home DIY

what youd expect
No frills, exactly what you need to secure your upper receiver.
Has spots specifically to keep the upper secure throughout the unit. Wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again. Great service from optics planet as always.

Cheap brittle plastic
I ended up returning this item and got a solid polyurethane upper vice block and an aluminum pin-type lower vice block on Ebay for a little more. The polyurethane is much stronger yet it's surface is softer than this cheap polycarbonate plastic.
I'm not sure which is better: by securing the upper by the takedown pins or by clamping the assembly from the outside, but the pin type is working just fine for me. There is no movement with it whereas the clamping one had a little play.

works but a bit lose
The lower vice clamp work and is usable. There is quite a but of play in the fitting. if you place an rifle on it it will stay but will wobble on the block. The material is good, seems like it will hold up.

Not great spend a little more
It’s works but it’s loose and wobbly. I used it to change out my flash hider and it worked but I would buy a different magazine block and upper block if I had to do it over. Cheap but just annoying to work with.

AIM Sports vise blocks
When it comes to vise blocks I'm not an expert by no means but to me it seems logical to go the cheaper route when it comes to something as simple as a vise block. Haven't used them yet but I've put my upper and lowers in them and they seat very well, doesn't look like I'll have any problems out of tissue vise block set.

AR Upper/lower vice block set
Great for the beginner performing simple upgrades and mods. Only thing it was missing is a bolt insert. I like how it list all specific torques etc. for upper and lower receiver components. Very solid vice mounting system.
Pros:
- Inexpensive
- Simple to use
Cons:
- No bolt insert
Would recommend: Yes
